Ms. Ashley, 2 Year Lead Teacher

Ashley, our two year teacher, lives in Jefferson with her husband, Jason and their dog, Pollack. Ashley and Jason have been married for 6 years. She has an Associate’s Degree in Education and is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree at Piedmont College. She loves children and is passionate about teaching them. She is a member at Corner-stone Baptist Church and is so excited to be a part of what God is doing at Corner-stone Preschool!

Ms. Julie, 3 Year Lead Teacher

Julie has her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College. She also holds a special education certificate. Prior to being hired at Corner-Stone Preschool, Julie taught Pre-K at Jefferson Elementary for 2 years before becoming a full-time Mom. She has been married to Cory since April 2006 and they have one daughter, Victoria, 2 years old. In her free time, Julie enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her family.

Julie enjoys the wonder that comes with teaching young children and looks forward to watching their excitement as they learn more about the world that God created. One of her favorite scriptures is found in Proverbs 22:6. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Ms. Tracy, 4 Year Lead Teacher

Tracy grew up in Vero Beach, Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida with an Elementary Education degree. She and her husband, Danny, taught in Krakow, Poland for the first two years of their marriage. Tracy and Danny have been married for eleven years. Danny is a special Education teacher at Gum Springs elementary. Tracy taught first grade for twelve years and has been a stay at home mom for the past seven years. She has a daughter, Ava, 7, in second grade at Gum Springs Elementary and Ella, 4, who will be joining us at Corner-Stone in our 4 year old class.

Kimberly Rewis, Preschool Director

Kimberly Rewis is the Director of Corner-Stone Church Preschool. She attended Cumberland College, where she received her Bachelor's in Communication Arts / Business Administration. After graduating, she married Darrel Rewis, pastor of Corner-Stone Church. They have been married for 13 years and have 2 precious boys, Grady, 7, and Corbin, 4. She received her Masters in Education from Texas Christian University in 2000. She has taught in Hall and Gwinnett county school systems, as well as in church children's minsitries. Most recently God has called her to begin a new ministry, the Corner-Stone Church Preschool.
