Life Groups

Life-Groups are adult small groups that meet in member's homes, at the church or at a restaurant or coffee shop. These groups are for members and non-members alike. They are a great way to learn more about the people who call Corner-Stone home.

Most groups eat, fellowship, pray together, and discuss the previous Sunday's message. Each group is hosted and facilitated by a church family. Children are welcome and care for them is determined by each group.

This Fall you have several options for joining a small group fellowship! Attend a Men's or Women's Life-Group during the week and/or a couples class on Sunday mornings.

Men's and Women's groups alternate weeks so that mom and dad aren't away from home 2 nights during the same week. A listing of the offerings for this fall are below, and you can also find additional information in the Information Room (orange room)or on the bulletin board in the hallway at church.

MEN'S:
Option A: Monday's at 7:00PM at Corner-Stone, a video study by Francis Chan on the "Basics" including God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Prayer, Fellowship, etc. Visit www.basicseries.com for more a preview. (Facilitated by Elder Radley King)

Option B: Wednesday's at 7:00PM at Beef O' Brady's (Jefferson), a guided review and discussion of the book "Tortured for Christ" by Richard Wormbrand. Visit www.torturedforchrist.com for more information and how to receive a free copy. (Facilitated by Seth Odom)

WOMEN'S:

Sunday morning Life-Groups are a NEW addition this Fall in an effort to help you manage your week more efficiently. We understand that life gets busy! Each Sunday morning (starting at 9:30AM) 2 new groups will be meeting at the church. The first is led by Elder Bruce Borron and open to everyone. The second is a family-style class in the Fellowship Hall for parents with children 5 and up. In this class parents will have round table spritual discussions and fun led by various other parents from Corner-Stone. The goal of this class is to foster and model family spiritual interaction and growth.

Both Sunday morning Life-Groups have simultaneous, high energy classes available for children under 5.
