The first Sunday of March marked the start of Corner-Stone's 8th year in ministry!

It's remarkable when I really think about it. God has been so gracious to my family and this collection of believers. Sooo much has happened in these seven years. We have come so far and yet have so much more left to do!

I remember the first day my feet hit the ground. It was the summer of 2005. It would be 10 months before our formal launch. Even after a year of church-planter training I remember nervously thinking, "I really have no idea where to begin!" That first day I put one foot in front of the other, literally. I started in our neighborhood and prayed that someone/anyone would be outside so I could awkwardly strike up a conversation. There was and that family became our first Corner-Stone Church Family.

They have since moved from the area but I think of them often and still keep in touch. In time, the Corner-Stone Church Family played an important role in the life of that couple... a divine role in fact. Looking back, I know that to be true for many others. Every time I'm tempted to discount the impact this ministry has had or to focus on our "gaps" I need only replay those faces and the stories of real transformation. They make it all worth it.

Kimberly and I are humbled to be a part of this ministry with you and look forward to watching the Lord use it to transform lives for many years to come. Standing upon the proven faithfulness of our Father, I see Corner-Stone's greatest days yet ahead.
